About
My name is R. Forrest Evans, creator of The Ed Tech Teacher. I hope that
this site serves as a resource, extension, and bridge between the
educational community and global society. I've been an educator since
1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from Montclair State
University and a Master of Arts in Education Leadership, Management and
Policy from Seton Hall University. My most recent degree is a Master of
Arts in Education Curriculum and Instruction: Technology from Grand
Canyon University. My professional training is currently being applied
as a technology teacher in New Jersey.
I was born and raised in New Jersey and am a product of the Paterson,
East Orange, and Arch Diocese of Newark school systems graduating from
Seton Hall Preparatory School. I currently reside in Northern NJ with my
wife and children.
As an educator, I have a passion for utilizing technology in all subject
areas and believe that it is a valuable resource that can add relevance,
meaning, and enjoyment to student learning in all subject areas. I
additionally enjoy sharing my understanding and knowledge of educational
technological practices by way of presentations at district in-service
workshops and professional development conferences.
